Today I went to visit S akka and her baby Maya. The baby is so cute -- even tempered and with the biggest eyes ever. And she's got that perfect semi-circle smile. S akka's mom -- G auntie -- wasn't at home, but her older sister had come home to visit. Their voices and mannerisms are almost exactly alike one another's it's crazy. S akka's back is shot (some herniated disc problem ... and surgery, etc didn't help at all) and so she really can't move from home.

On the way back, Amma and I had some of the flatbread sandwiches from DD. They're horrible. I think DD should stick to donuts. Don't get me started on the hash browns.



My brother is running for Student Council rep. He's the first special education kid ever to do so in the school district, apparently, so it's a big thing. I made his flyers for him because he's a lazy ass ... and so this is what I came up with:

The first flyer was a picture of a flying superhero -- and on his face, I copied a goofy picture of my brother and a speechbubble saying, "It's okay now, I'm here." It's an obscure reference to a Yahoo! audible.

The second flyer was a picture of President Bush making this very jovial thumbs up sign and underneath the picture, in parenthesis, it says, ""Oh well, we tried". Beneath that it says,

"No child left behind -- this time, for REAL. Vote Mumbicks, etc etc"

The third flyer was a bunch of fake quotes from various different sources.

Apparently they were liked so much that people requested copies to take home. :-D I wonder whether this will have any bearing on his actually getting elected for Student Council. We will see.
